Smoked Holiday Ham
This is an easy way to heat a smoked half ham for a holiday meal or family gathering. It’s cooked slowly in the oven to warm it through without drying it out.

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 325°F.

Step 2

Place the smoked half ham cut side down in a roasting pan.

Step 3

Add about 1 to 2 cups of water to the bottom of the pan to keep the ham from drying out.

Step 4

Cover the pan tightly with a lid.

Step 5

Bake until the ham is heated through, about 15 to 20 minutes per pound.

Step 6

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Step 7

Serve warm.
