Easy Homestyle Beef Dip is a quick skillet dip made with ground beef, onions, garlic, salsa, melted cheese, and sour cream, ready in minutes and perfect for an easy snack or casual get-together.
Ingredients
- (1 lb.) Ground Beef
- (1-2 small onions) 2lb - Candy Onions
- (2 cloves) Fresh Garlic Bulbs
- (3 jars) Salsa
- (1 pint) Raw Sour Cream
- (1 lb.) Shredded Dutcharella Cheese
- 1 lb. Hot Cheddar Cheese
- Raw Unsalted Butter
- Einkorn Tortilla Chips
Directions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced onion in butter until softened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in the salsa, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, cumin, and any optional seasonings. Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and mix in the shredded dutcharella, and hot cheddar until melted and creamy.
- Stir in the sour cream until smooth and warmed through. Do not boil.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips.
