Step 1 - Sauté Garlic
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt. Add the minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
Step 2 - Cook the Brussels Sprouts
Add the Brussels sprouts and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften and caramelize.
Step 3 - Cook the Bacon
In a separate small pan (or in the same pan after removing the sprouts), cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain excess fat if needed.
Step 4 - Combine and Finish
Add the crispy bacon to the Brussels sprouts and toss to combine. Drizzle with maple syrup and stir until evenly coated. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if you like extra spice. Serve hot!
