For the salad:

  • 4 cups cabbage, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 cup croutons

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    For the dressing:

  • 1 large egg (or 2 egg yolks for extra richness)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tsp mustard

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Make the dressing: In a bowl, whisk together the egg (or yolks), heavy cream, garlic, lemon juice, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper. Chill for 10–15 minutes if possible.

  • Prepare the salad: Thinly slice the cabbage and place it in a large salad bowl.

  • Assemble: Pour the dressing over the cabbage and toss to coat evenly. Add croutons and extra Parmesan cheese on top.

  • Serve immediately for a fresh, crunchy salad.
