So the month of May is actually recognized as "National Beef Month" which is the reason I want to highlight our beef in this blog... :)

And if I would tell you the amazing benefits of our 100% Grass Fed Beef, would you be learning something new?

I do know some of you long-time customers probably have learned a lot just by following or reading along when we created blogs/newsletters over the years, or the product pages itself on the website...

But we feel it is important to keep the information coming whether it's new or just a refresher because it helps to keep ourselves in check as well...

Anyway, I will start with 10 core differences that sets our beef apart:

This is a glimpse of our beef cattle. Lush grass and supplemental minerals is the only feed they get. Plus lots of stored hay over the winter... The results? Healthy cattle, regenerating the land!

Below is what "CAFO" (concentrated animal feeding operation), beef looks like. Living on dirt and getting tons of grain dumped in front of them. :(Which cattle do you think enjoy life more, the ones below or above?

Now we will dive into the true benefits of 100% Grass Fed Beef

Higher in CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid): This is a group of naturally occurring, polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acids found primarily in the meat and dairy products of ruminant animals. Usually the highest natural concentrations are found in grass fed animals.

More Nutrient-Dense: 
By grazing on varied pastures, grass fed cattle tend to produce meat that contains more heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidant vitamins (like A and E), and of course the beneficial Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) compared to grain-fed beef.

"Omega-3s have been shown to improve heart health and enhance brain function."

Flavor Profile: The diverse plants and forages cattle eat pass fat-soluble compounds directly into the meat, creating a deeper, more pasture-driven flavor. You can taste the difference! :)

Another project we really have been excited about was our new meat processing facility that we launched in June of 2024. It has done very well for us to be able to process and have better control of our own product, creating our own recipes, using organic ingredients, etc...
