WHAT IS GHEE?
It's very simple; It’s a healthy butter – but just a bit better.
Ghee is a butter that is heated and reduced until all the milk solids separate. Then those casein and lactose solids are cooked out and filtered . You’re left with a healthy golden fat – ghee.
Ghee also doesn’t have to be refrigerated. It’s always a spreadable consistency for many uses. And it has a longer shelf life. It also has a higher smoke point making it safer to cook with. High in vitamins A, E, D, and K, and free of lactose and casein.
