Now RAW A2 and in Glass!
We're thrilled to bring you what so many of you have been asking for — a truly raw, probiotic-rich kefir crafted the old-fashioned way, with nothing stripped away and nothing held back.
The Culturing Process
Our Raw Kefir starts with living kefir grains. These ancient, symbiotic colonies of bacteria and yeast are added directly to fresh milk and allowed to work their magic at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours. The result is a kefir that is smooth, pleasantly tangy, and absolutely teeming with naturally occurring probiotics developed through genuine fermentation — the way kefir has been made for centuries.
The Milk
We use 100% grass-fed, A2/A2 raw milk sourced exclusively from our own Dutch Belt cows — a heritage breed known for their rich, high-quality milk. Because the milk is never heated or pasteurized, every batch retains its full complement of naturally occurring enzymes, beneficial bacteria, vitamins, and bioavailable nutrients exactly as nature intended.
Our Standards
Just because the label says "pet food" doesn't mean we cut any corners. Every step of our Raw Kefir process — from the cleanliness of our facility to rigorous testing — is held to human consumption standards. We believe you and your animals deserve nothing less.
A Note on Pennsylvania Regulations
We want to be fully transparent with you. Pennsylvania state law currently makes no regulatory provision for the sale of raw kefir for human consumption. As a result, we are legally required to market and label this product as pet food, even though it is produced with the same care, cleanliness, and quality testing as everything else we make. We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate these regulations.
A Quick Heads-Up on Pressure
Because our kefir is made with live and active kefir grains, fermentation may continue inside the container. This means your kefir may be pressurized when you open it — so loosen the lid slowly and carefully, and always store it in the refrigerator to slow further fermentation.
*This product is government approved for pet food only. Pennsylvania state regulations do not currently provide for the sale of raw fermented dairy products for human consumption.
