Today we have a very important update regarding our shipping fees for UPS Home Delivery. Effective 11.1.24

I will be direct and to the point of this email...

So while we really appreciate your business with us and hope we can continue serving your REAL food needs, we do occasionally have to evaluate as to where our costs are in getting the package to you....

Prices have slowly been increasing on UPS fees, packaging material, ice, labor, etc... While we tried really hard to get more creative with how we purchase supplies and negotiate with UPS, we still ended up paying out of pocket for the last 6-8 months to see if we can't keep prices where they are...

One thing we do not compromise on is how we treat our team members! Without them this REAL food enterprise wouldn't fly... :)

Please note: We have 3 levels UPS Home Delivery service based on where you are, see below...

For UPS Home Delivery (Ground Service)... Shipping fee will be $1.90/lb ($.25/lb increase) Example: 20lb order would be $5.00 more. Minimum order will still be at $50 

For UPS Home Delivery (2-Day Air Service)... Shipping fee will be $5.75/lb ($1/lb increase) Example: 10lb order would be $10.00 more. Minimum order will still be at $75

For UPS Home Delivery (2-Day Air Service)... Shipping fee will be $7.95/lb ($1/lb increase) Example: 10lb order would be $10.00 more. Minimum order will still be at $75

We are one of the very few that actually charge separately on your order for the shipping fees, which means we do not hide what it costs to ship this REAL food to your door! It's easy to hide fees in the price of product if you offer so-called "free shipping"...

As always, we try to be very transparent with full integrity with what we do here at Dutch Meadows Farm... And we thank-you in advance for your understanding! Increasing delivery fees is one of the hardest things for us farmers to do which is probably the biggest reason we didn't for a few years! :(

Without you, our faithful customer, we wouldn't exist... :)
