If Mother Nature Could Talk, She’d Be Screaming Right Now

We understand it may seem like we often preach the importance of raising grass fed cattle who live naturally on pasture, as part of a holistically managed ecosystem where the health of our animals/land, business and customers are of equal importance. The truth is though, we cannot stress this enough. Especially in today’s environment where consumers are exposed to various kinds of white lies and misleading data.

There’s a lot of crap out there. For better and for worse, information just seems to be over-exaggerated but, in our eyes, there’s one overarching theme to today’s concerns that we can certainly agree with - we need to dial back unnecessary consumption, be aware of our needs versus our wants and the REAL impact our actions have upon our surroundings.

If mother nature could talk, she would be screaming right now for a return to simpler times.

THIS is why we continue to do what we do.

THIS is why we’re so grateful for those of you who are committed to supporting us.

THIS is why you should recognize the importance of your purchase and acknowledge that it’s way more than a purchase - it’s a vote for a thoughtful lifestyle that improves the world.

‘The world?!’, you ask?

Remember Margaret Mead’s wise words, and a personal credo of ours, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”

Lastly, THIS is why it means the world to us when you spread the word. Tell a friend. Heck, tell a stranger! Spread joy. Spread truth. Spread positivity. There is NEVER any harm in that. Especially during the holiday season.

Happy Holidays!

What Is "Seasonal Winter" Chicken?

So let’s think about seasonal chicken… As we all know to raise pastured chicken there is a seasonal time frame that we can consider our chicken to be truly pastured and that is May through October.
