3 Raw Milk Recipes - Think Outside the Glass

For starters, raw milk is a good source of vitamin A, magnesium, zinc and thiamine (B1). Additionally, it’s an excellent source of protein and contains hundreds of different healthy fatty acids, including conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and omega-3s. It also contains higher amounts of beneficial antioxidants, such as vitamin E and beta-carotene, which help reduce inflammation and fight oxidative stress.
However, you may not need convinced that it’s healthy. You may just need to find a way that you really enjoy consuming it. Drinking a glass of milk is not for everyone. Kefir is essentially fermented milk. We make and sell this product as well but we love when our customers get hands on at home and understand the process. These recipes are super simple. Just make sure you substitute raw milk anytime they suggest another type of dairy or dairy substitute. Smoothies are an excellent way to not only sneak in raw milk if you’re not a fan, but also other nutrient packed foods you don’t find yourself eating enough of throughout the week, like greens and citrus. The raw milk helps tie everything together and balance the flavors.
