This moist, soft, creamy, surface-ripened cheese made from organic raw cow's milk is a customer favorite! Like most of our dairy products it is made from grass fed Dutch Belt cows milk. The cheese is pasteurized and aged for 4 weeks to give it a soft creamy texture, similar to the more commonly consumed brie. You may even choose to let it age in the refrigerator for a few more weeks, which will result in a softer and creamier texture. It is also excellent when drizzled with honey and baked gently in the oven. Consider pairing it with local apples or pairs, or simply spreading it on artisanl bread or crackers. Many customers are just blown away with the flavor of this cheese, even if they've tried other camembert. This product is packaged in individual 6 oz. wheels.
