This is real, old-fashioned lard — prized for generations for its clean flavor and versatility in the kitchen. It produces exceptionally flaky pie crusts, crispy roasted vegetables, golden fried foods, and rich, traditional baked goods.
Because it comes from properly raised animals, our lard has a smooth texture and mild flavor — very different from commercial shortening or highly processed alternatives.
Like all of our products, the pork used for this lard comes from animals raised without soy-based feeds, GMOs, antibiotics, or added hormones.
